I have been out of the “concert” scene for some years, indeed, I have not played the piano for even more years. Normally I prefer more classical music but I watched and listen to this concert on the computer and really felt as though I was there. A question for Alan Hicks, how would you suggest I “rejuvenate” my piano playing? I have thought of attempting to re-sit AMEB exams, I don’t live in the City hence don’t have access to such high calibre teachers as do students at the School of Music.

Your piano playing was fantastic and I loved the whole concert. I’m glad you played with a road map, in case the clarinet player took the the wrong turn.
